Reach Recruitment are currently looking for Dispatch/Warehouse Operatives for Cranswick Preston in HU12.

We have several opportunities available for experienced Dispatch/Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Roles, Working hours & Pay rates:

Picker:

  • 4 on 4 off - 5am to 5pm - Day Shift £13.00 per hour

Loader:

  • 4 on 4 off - 6am to 6pm - Day Shift £13.00 per hour

Operative:

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm £12.85 per hour starting rate
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm £12.85 per hour starting rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick product orders accurately using hand scanners, meeting daily targets.
  • Load and unload deliveries using pallet trucks.
  • Report shortages or overstock to the management team.
  • Maintain quality and traceability of all products.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
  • Comply with Health & Safety requirements, Food Safety legislation, and company quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Good literacy and numeracy (English and Maths).
  • Previous dispatch experience – ideally within a food production environment.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Familiarity with warehouse systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Flexible approach to duties and working hours.
  • Awareness of KPIs.
  • Comfortable working in a chilled meat production environment.
