## Job Summary - sponsorship available for exceptional candidates

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in preparing traditional Indian curry and tandoor dishes, specifically those cooked in a tandoor, such as naan, roti, kebabs, and various meats. The Tandoori Chef will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and hygiene.

## Responsibilities

- Prepare, marinate, and cook a variety of dishes using traditional tandoor techniques, including breads, meats, and seafood.

- Master the use of the tandoor oven to achieve the desired flavors and textures

- Innovate new recipes while maintaining the authenticity of traditional Indian cuisine

- Managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as needed

- Overseeing food preparation processes to maintain hygiene and safety standards

- Training and mentoring kitchen staff on cooking techniques and best practices

- Collaborating with restaurant management to meet customer preferences and dietary needs

- Able to travel locally and handle live tandoor counters for outdoor catering

## Skills

- Proven experience as a Curry & Tandoori Chef or similar role in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant

- Strong culinary skills with expertise in various cuisines and cooking techniques

- 10 years plus experience on Indian cooking

- Previous experience of catering and banqueting is valuable
