GP Phlebotomist – Bartlett Group Practice

Bartlett Group Practice is a busy, forward‑thinking GP surgery operating across two sites and providing care to a growing population of around 28,000 patients. Based near the beautiful Surrey Hills, we are an expanding, dynamic team committed to delivering high‑quality patient care. We are now looking for a motivated Phlebotomist to join our friendly and hardworking clinical team.

About the Role

We have one part-time position available, each offering approximately 18 hours per week.
The role includes one evening shift per week, finishing at 8pm (excluding Fridays).

What We’re Looking For

Previous phlebotomy experience is desirable but not essential—full training and ongoing support will be provided. We are seeking someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and compassionately
  • Shows genuine interest in phlebotomy
  • Builds positive relationships with patients and colleagues
  • Demonstrates empathy, reliability, and a proactive ‘can‑do’ attitude

Main Responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide safe and effective phlebotomy services to patients
  • Be able to take blood pressure readings
  • Work flexibly to support the team, including covering annual leave and sickness
  • Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role as requested by your line manager or practice management
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Be able to work across both of our sites in Frimley Green and Ash Vale

Ideal Candidate Skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good computer literacy
  • A good standard of written and spoken English
