Job Title: Mobile Cleaning Operative Location:

London, Surrey, West Sussex, Hertfordshire (mobile role with regular travel)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, proactive Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly, and is confident travelling to multiple sites. You will provide cover for annual leave, support deep-cleaning tasks, and maintain high cleaning standards across a range of commercial locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel between multiple sites across London, Surrey, West Sussex, and Hertfordshire
  • Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard
  • Perform deep cleans, including carpets, hard floors, washrooms, and high‑touch areas
  • Operate cleaning machinery such as carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and other specialist equipment
  • Provide cover for staff annual leave, sickness, and emergency call-outs
  • Follow site-specific procedures and health & safety guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and site managers
  • Maintain equipment and ensure company vehicles are kept clean and road‑ready

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Experience using carpet cleaning machines and floor buffing equipment
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different environments
  • Flexibility to work early starts from 6am and evening shifts when required
  • Availability to work weekends as part of a rota
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality work
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
