Summary

We are seeking a Dispensing Assistant to join Touchwood Pharmacy in GB. Based. This role is vital in supporting our pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient service and medication management. Your contribution will help us uphold our mission of accessible, reliable healthcare.
Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at the pharmacy counter with prescriptions and inquiries.
  • Provide excellent customer service and medication advice.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure the cleanliness of the pharmacy area.
  • Dispensing prescriptions in a timely manner
  • Support medication administration procedures under supervision.
  • Help facilitate additional services such as vaccinations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Qualifications
  • Level 2 dispensing assistant qualification
  • Knowledge of pharmacy procedures.
  • Strong patient care skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a professional demeanor.
  • Relevant pharmacy counter assistant training preferred
  • Experience supporting NHS pharmacy services is advantageous.
