Are you passionate about sustainability? Do you want to be part of a team that makes a real difference? We’re looking for Recycling Operatives to join our Mobile Segregation Unit (MSU) at Stansted Airport.

As a Recycling Operative, you’ll play a key role in helping us maintain high recycling rates by sorting and processing waste materials in a safe and efficient manner. This is a hands-on role where teamwork and attention to detail are essential!

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR AN INTERVIEW TUESDAY 30TH JUNE

TEMP SUMMER JOB TILL END OF SEPTEMBER

Night Shift - Must be flexible

JOB DETAILS:

Working hours7PM - 7AM - NIGHT SHIFT

Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off

Pay rate: £13.15 per hour

Contract: 0 hours contract however full time hours are available as listed above

What You’ll Be Doing:

Manually sorting waste into the correct recycling streams Ensuring all waste is properly contained and ready for transfer Keeping the work environment clean, safe, and compliant Carrying out safety and security checks as required Reporting any issues, incidents, or near misses to the Team Leader Supporting communication between shifts and ensuring a smooth handover Using on-site equipment safely and responsibly

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong team player with good attention to detail
  • A responsible and reliable attitude towards work and safety
  • Someone who can work in a physically active role
  • Basic IT skills (training will be provided)
  • A commitment to recycling and sustainability

Previous experience in waste management or recycling is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided!
