Teaching Assistant – SEND

Early Years & Secondary Opportunities
All-Through Special School – Uxbridge

We are seeking a committed, compassionate, and attentive SEND Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. Opportunities are available in both the Early Years provision and the Secondary phase, supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs.

The Role

Working under the direction of teachers and alongside a multi-disciplinary team, you will:

  • Support pupils with severe, complex, and/or autism-based needs to access learning
  • Deliver targeted interventions and support personalised learning plans
  • Assist in the development of communication, social, and life skills
  • Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
  • Support with sensory needs and behaviour regulation strategies
  • Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, teachers, and families to ensure holistic support
  • Provide personal care where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times

Whether in Early Years or Secondary, staff play a vital role in enabling pupils to thrive both academically and personally.
