Teaching Assistant – SEND
Early Years & Secondary Opportunities
All-Through Special School – Uxbridge
We are seeking a committed, compassionate, and attentive SEND Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. Opportunities are available in both the Early Years provision and the Secondary phase, supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs.
This is a highly rewarding role, ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
The Role
Working under the direction of teachers and alongside a multi-disciplinary team, you will:
- Support pupils with severe, complex, and/or autism-based needs to access learning
- Deliver targeted interventions and support personalised learning plans
- Assist in the development of communication, social, and life skills
- Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
- Support with sensory needs and behaviour regulation strategies
- Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with therapists, teachers, and families to ensure holistic support
- Provide personal care where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times
