Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Part-time Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining an organised and welcoming store environment. This role offers flexible hours suitable for students or individuals seeking part-time employment, with the opportunity to develop valuable retail skills.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and offer assistance to enhance their shopping experience
  • Provide detailed product information and answer customer enquiries effectively
  • Process transactions accurately using the till system, including cash, card, and mobile payments
  • Restock shelves and ensure products are well-presented and organised
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor and fitting rooms
  • Assist in visual merchandising to promote products attractively
  • Support stock management by receiving deliveries and organising stockroom areas
  • Promote ongoing sales, promotions, and loyalty programmes to maximise sales opportunities

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
