Stonecross Care Home jobs

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work throughout the care home.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Perform routine checks on equipment, lighting, fire alarms, water temperatures, and building safety systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain outdoor areas including gardens, pathways, fences, and car parks.
• Assemble furniture and move equipment when required.
• Liaise with external contractors and monitor their work on site.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and report defects to management.
• Ensure tools and maintenance areas are kept clean and secure.
• Support infection prevention and control procedures within the home.
• Assist during inspections and audits such as by the Care Quality Commission.
• Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, and care home policies at all times.

Pay: £12.71-£13.40 per hour
