Job Title: SEN Maths Teacher
Location: Miller House School, Leicester LE4 5LQ
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Salary: Up to £42,500 per annum, depending on experience (not pro rata)

About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, and motivated Maths Teacher who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs.

This is not your typical teaching role. At Outcomes First Group, we empower our teachers to think outside the box, using a wide range of resources and specialist support to deliver engaging, individualised learning that truly meets the needs of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths teaching that supports strong progress and attainment
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Maths curriculum and practice
  • Support pupils’ personal development, wellbeing and engagement in learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery
  • Teach across a range of subjects where required, including off-site provision if needed
  • Make effective use of resources to enhance learning outcomes

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS or a degree in Mathematics
  • Experienced (or keen to develop) in working with students with autism, learning difficulties, or complex needs
  • A confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment
  • Flexible, proactive, and reflective in their practice
  • Full UK driving licence

Miller House School is a brand-new school located in Stoneygate, Leicester. The school opened in September 2025, has a capacity of 80 pupils, and offers a co-educational provision for students with complex needs, including SEMH.

Miller House School is a specialist SEMH setting for young people aged 11–16. We are committed to supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, as well as autism and ADHD. Our safe and nurturing environment ensures every child is heard, seen, and supported to thrive.
