Structural Engineer

Cardiff, South Wales £38,000 – £45,000 DOE

Looking to step up into a senior role where your designs shape the skyline? we’re on the lookout for a driven Structural Engineer to work on projects in the commercial, leisure, industrial, residential, and educational sectors.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing building structures across major sectors using steel, concrete, timber & masonry
  • Deliver projects from £1m to £20m, while juggling resourcing, fees, timelines, and quality
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct building inspections and structural reports with sound recommendations for remedial works

What we're looking for

  • Ideally, you will have experience in temporary works design or façade/cladding design
  • 5–7 years' structural design experience across a variety of building types
  • Degree-qualified (BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering)
  • Chartered or actively working towards IStructE or ICE chartership (not essential)
  • Confident in Revit and AutoCAD, Tedds and Tekla Structures (or similar)
  • Strong technical and analytical design skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Full UK driving license (required)
