We pride ourselves on offering a unique experience by focusing on the following four areas:

  • We have an industry leading staff to student ratio, meaning we can spend more 1-2-1 time with our students, and our teachers join in with all activities and excursions to encourage the use of English
  • We offer unique, high value excursions, including our now famous OVERNIGHT excursions to either a medieval castle or in lively London!
  • We push the boundaries on what activities can be offered at a summer school, from colour runs, escape games, assault courses and music bingo!
  • We cap each language to 20%, meaning there is a maximum of 30 children with the same mother tongue at each campus

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Activity Leader at Samiad Summer School, you will be an essential part of our

dynamic team, responsible for creating memorable experiences for our international students. You will lead and organise a wide range of physical and social activities that promote language development, personal growth, and cultural exchange among our diverse group of young learners. • Encourage participation, engagement, and language practice among students.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing feedback and insights to enhance the overall experience.
  • Be outgoing, fun and a friendly face for the students to approach with any concerns or questions.

EXCURSIONS AND WELFARE

Having been briefed beforehand, you will guide students on excursions including an

overnight stay.

  • Lead and supervise excursions once a week, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.
  • Serve as a mentor and positive role model for students, cultivating a sense of community and fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Engage with students during meals and leisure hours, ensuring an enjoyable yet secure atmosphere.
  • Take on responsibilities for house duties, such as wake-up routines and oversight, contributing to the overall goal of promoting a positive atmosphere within our summer schools.
