Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Summer Internship/Paralegal to join our legal team. This internship offers valuable exposure to legal processes and procedures, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in law. Would be ideal for law students seeking legal experience. You will be supporting one of our solicitors with various administrative and case matters.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

This role is to cover the summer period and will run 6 to 8 weeks.

Duties

  • Assist our Senior Partner
  • Draft, review, and organise legal documents, correspondence, and reports
  • Support the preparation of case files and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients via email and phone calls
  • Organise meetings, take minutes, and distribute relevant documentation
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned by supervising solicitor

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good command of English language
  • Basic IT knowledge and familiarity with legal terminology is desirable but not essential
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities within deadlines
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant academic programme in law or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
