Full job description

Shopping Centre Cleaner – Loughborough

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable cleaner with a keen eye for detail to help keep our Carillon Court Shopping Centre in Loughborough spotless for customers, tenants and staff.

You’ll be part of a wider site team, while working independently on your own duties during your shift.

THE ROLE

  • Keeping the centre clean, tidy and presentable for customers at all times
  • Cleaning the internal and external mall areas, staff offices and toilet facilities
  • Carrying out routine cleaning such as mopping, sweeping and litter picking around the site
  • Making sure waste and refuse are removed promptly
  • Responding quickly to unexpected spills and cleaning issues as they arise
  • Following health and safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning equipment and products

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous cleaning experience is essential
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Thorough, with strong attention to detail
  • Happy working on your own as well as part of a team

WHAT WE OFFER

  • 33 days paid holiday per year, pro rata. As this is a part-time role, your holiday is worked out in proportion to your hours.

HOURS

20 hours per week, worked over 5 days. Working days and times will be agreed with the successful candidate.
