- Ensure safe prescribing and maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records
- Provide clear education around dosage, usage and potential side effects
- Manage medication-related queries by phone and email
- Oversee repeat prescriptions on Script Assist, resolving queries promptly
- Collaborate with consultants, doctors, pharmacists and patient support colleagues, referring on where a case falls outside your scope
- Stay current with developments in cannabis-based medicines, mental health evidence base and regulatory guidance
- Contribute to audits, clinical governance and quality improvement activities
Working Pattern & Sessions
- Appointments at 10-minute intervals
- Each 4-hour session includes a paid 20-minute catch-up
- Flexible scheduling - run clinics 7 days a week as fits your availability
- Required attendance at a weekly virtual MDT session (Tuesday evening, 18:15 or 19:00) for CPD.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration
- Independent / non-medical prescriber qualification (V300)

Desirable:
