Warehouse Supervisor – Midshift
Caterfood SW LTD – South West Devon
Shift: 16:00 – 00:00

Caterfood SW LTD is an independently run foodservice business supplying frozen food, catering products, and distribution services across the South West. We pride ourselves on delivering a reliable, high-quality service, and we’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our midshift team and play a key role in connecting the day and night operations.

Job Summary:
You will lead and manage the midshift warehouse team, ensuring all activity is completed safely, accurately, and in a way that supports both the close of the dayshift and the smooth start of the nightshift.

This role is focused on organising, supporting, and holding the team accountable, while stepping in when needed to maintain flow across the operation.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will coordinate and guide the midshift team, remaining visible and ready to support where needed.

You’ll play a key role in bridging the day and night operations. You will oversee key operational activities across the shift, as well as managing day-to-day team performance, Alongside this, you will manage day-to-day team performance, maintaining clear expectations, monitoring standards, and ensuring a disciplined and professional working environment. You will also ensure all health & safety and food safety standards are consistently followed throughout the shift.

About You:
You have experience leading in a warehouse or similar environment and understand how to get the best out of a team in a busy, dynamic environment.

You’re confident organising workloads, giving clear direction, and holding people accountable, while still being willing to step in and support when the operation demands it. You’re comfortable working across priorities, resolving issues, and ensuring standards are maintained even during busy or pressured periods.

You take a structured, proactive approach, with a strong focus on stock control, accuracy, and completing tasks to a high standard. Most importantly, you bring a calm, consistent leadership style that keeps the shift running smoothly and sets the next team up for success.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
