About the

First off, it’s best I introduce myself (person behind the keyboard here), it’s not the norm on a job role spec, but I feel it’s important you get introduced to who you may be working with for a long time early on. I’m Verity, Head of Product here at DFYNE HQ.

I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive leader to guide our Quality Team. The ideal candidate will support the QC team and Product Compliance team in ensuring our products meet DFYNE standards and customer expectations.

You will play a key part in implementing processes and procedures to reduce defects and drive continuous product improvement.The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and a solid understanding of product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead continuous product quality improvement (reduce RR)

  • Run in-house testing lab and execute product testing protocols

  • Implement compliance policies and procedures

  • Tracking and monitoring of quality team KPIs

  • PDRs with quality team

  • Resource Planning

Quality Control

  • In-line quality checks

  • Final Inspection of bulk goods

  • Supplier Performance Tracking

  • In-house QC checks

Product Compliance

  • Ensure product level compliance for all selling regions

  • Pre-production checks of testing and bulk materials

  • Due diligence testing- Conduct regular product testing of replenishable products and maintain records.

  • Labelling and packaging compliance

  • Ongoing Improvements- tracking return rates and implementing improvements

Experience Needed:

  • Knowledge of the quality team function in the apparel industry and experience working with a global supply base.

  • Understanding of supplier operations, factory experience preferred.

  • Understanding of legal product compliance.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.

  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail
