Support Worker – West Lothian

Livingston | Bathgate | Armadale | Deans

Make a difference, have fun and help people live life their way!

Are you a caring, friendly and enthusiastic person who loves making a positive difference? We're looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team across West Lothian!

You'll be supporting adults with a range of complex care needs, including learning disabilities, mental health conditions and mobility challenges.

But this is about so much more than providing support – it's about making memories, sharing experiences, building relationships and helping people to enjoy the things they love.

Whether it's heading out for a walk, enjoying a good chat, getting creative with hobbies or cooking up something delicious together, you'll be helping people make the most of every day!

Working on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis, you'll provide individualised, person-centred support that encourages choice, confidence and independence.

Why You'll Love Working With Us!

  • Be yourself: No uniforms here – just comfy, appropriate casual clothes.
  • Do what you love: Hobbies, walks, cooking, activities and plenty of chats are all part of the job.
  • Make every day different: No two days are the same, and every day brings opportunities to make a difference.
  • Work somewhere that cares: We are proud to have achieved a Grade 6 – Excellent rating from the Care Inspectorate for leadership and staffing.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for supporting others and making a difference.
  • A caring, patient and understanding nature.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Someone who believes in treating everyone with dignity, kindness and respect.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting individuals with everyday activities and routines.
  • Encouraging independence, choice and confidence.
  • Getting involved in hobbies, interests and fun activities.
  • Enjoying walks, days out, cooking and socialising.
  • Supporting individuals to stay connected with their local communities.
  • Promoting physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
  • Building meaningful relationships and becoming a familiar, trusted face.
  • Helping people achieve their personal goals and live life to the fullest.

Could This Be You?

If you're someone who brings kindness, positivity and a little bit of fun to everything you do, we'd love to hear from you!

You don't need to change who you are to make a difference. Just bring your personality, compassion and enthusiasm – we'll support you along the way.

Come and be part of a team where making a difference is part of everyday life!

Pay: £15.44-£18.00 per hour
