About the Role

Framfield House Surgery are recruiting a part time receptionist/administrator to work in the Practice on a 6 -12 month fixed term contract with the opportunity of a permanent position after this time.

The main duties will include;
  • Work on our front desk to greet patients face to face/make appointmentt
  • Deal efficiently with patient queries
  • Answer incoming calls to make appointments/deal with queries
  • Make outgoing calls to patients and other organisations as necessary
  • Support the team with administrative duties applicable to the role

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Support the team by working in an efficient and effective way
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Good team player
  • Have outstanding customer service
  • Possess good numeracy, literacy and computer skills
  • Have an excellent and confident telephone manner whilst remaining empathetic and understanding the need for strict confidentiality
  • Possess good organisation skills
  • Knowledge of SystmOne is preferred and experience of working within a primary care setting would be an advantage.

The successful applicant should have good organisational skills and be enthusiastic to provide an efficient timely service.
