This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer interaction. You'll play a key role in designing and quoting renewable heating solutions, ensuring every installation is technically sound before it reaches our installation team.

We're looking for a technically minded professional who can confidently survey properties, design systems and work closely with customers from enquiry through to installation.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the technical journey of our heat pump projects, including both air-to-water and air-to-air heat pump systems.

Working alongside our operations team, engineers and manufacturers, you'll ensure every project is designed correctly, quoted accurately and handed over seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out technical site surveys for heat pump installations.
  • Design and specify air-to-water and air-to-air heat pump systems.
  • Complete heat loss calculations and system sizing.
  • Produce accurate quotations and technical proposals.
  • Liaise with customers throughout the quotation and pre-installation process.
  • Provide technical guidance to our installation engineers where required.
  • Ensure designs comply with MCS standards and current industry regulations.
  • Work closely with manufacturers on product selection and technical support.
  • Maintain accurate survey records and project documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement within our growing renewables division.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys solving problems and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Essential

  • Proven experience surveying and designing air source heat pump systems.
  • Experience carrying out customer surveys and preparing quotations.
  • Strong understanding of domestic heating systems and heat pump design principles.
  • Good working knowledge of MCS standards and renewable heating best practice.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Relevant industry qualifications.

Desirable

  • Experience with air-to-air heat pump systems.
  • Experience using heat loss calculation and design software.
  • Experience working within a renewable heating or HVAC contractor.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Company vehicle.
  • Company phone and laptop.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Company pension.
  • 29 days annual leave, increasing with length of service through our Loyalty Scheme.
  • Ongoing manufacturer training and professional development.
  • Hybrid working.
  • The opportunity to join an ambitious, fast-growing business where your knowledge and expertise will make a genuine impact.

Why Join Domestic Group⁺ ?

At Domestic Group⁺, we're committed to delivering high-quality renewable heating solutions backed by exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, you'll have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping our renewables division while working alongside a passionate and supportive team.

Apply today and help us shape the future of heat pump installations.
