Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong food preparation skills, a passion for cooking, and a solid background in kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained at all times. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards, working collaboratively with team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in the organisation and management of food production processes during service hours
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff where applicable, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
  • Monitor food quality and consistency throughout service, making adjustments as necessary
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies, adhering to food safety protocols
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service delivery and meet customer expectations
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a busy restaurant environment
