Full job description

The Hotel Folk are looking for experienced Breakfast Food & Beverage Assistants to join our friendly team at the award-winning Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa.

We are looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to work our MOnday to Friday Breakfast service. Shifts are on a rota basis and include working 7am - 6pm but very flexible. Shifts can be 7.30 to 12.30

As a Breakfast Food & Beverage Assistant you will provide courteous, efficient and knowledgeable service to our guests and ensure that presentation and cleaning standards are achieved and maintained in our Restaurant, Lounge and Bar areas. Previous waiter or waitress experience is helpful, however full training will be provided.

If you’re passionate about hospitality and wowing guests with our Blow-Your-Socks-Off experience then we want to hear from you!

Key tasks include:

  • Having a keen attention to ensuring customer satisfaction in our restaurant, lounge and outside dining areas
  • Being knowledgeable in the content of each menu, to be able to correctly advise guests on this.
  • Able to take orders accurately in a friendly and confident manner
  • Ensure that restaurant tables are laid out correctly
