We’re looking for people to deliver exceptional swimming lessons for Total Fitness members and non-members, to ensure the correct swimming safety procedures are always followed and to provide excellent customer service, making a difference to people's lives through teaching them to swim.

We recognise that members require post lesson feedback which we allow for in our scheduling, each lesson is 30 minutes + 10 minutes feedback, your time fully paid for.

What does the role involve?

  • Deliver lessons in accordance with association guidelines
  • Create a fun and positive pool experience
  • Guarantee the highest levels of safety at every session
  • Support the PXM (Poolside Experience Manager) with any queries regarding member progress
  • Maintain accurate records of all members
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardian of babies/toddlers participating in lessons
  • This role is subject to a DBS check

  • You will have an STA Aquatic Teaching Baby and Pre-School Swimming or Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers qualification
  • A successful record of teaching children to swim
  • Perseverance and patience
  • A natural coach who takes pride in planning and delivering pool lessons
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with parents
  • A genuine passion and active involvement in poolside activities
