Swim Instructor – Water Babies South Yorkshire

No experience needed Paid role | 1–4 days per week

Do you love swimming?

Do you love working with babies and young children (or think you might)?

Fancy a job that makes people smile every single shift?

We're looking for warm, enthusiastic people to join our Water Babies teaching team across South Yorkshire.

We have a range of part-time vacancies available, from one to four days per week, teaching at swimming pools in and around South Yorkshire.

You don't need any previous swimming teaching experience. We'll provide full, industry-leading training and support you every step of the way.

If you've got a great attitude, a love of the water and enjoy helping little ones grow in confidence, you're already halfway there!

What you'll be doing

  • Teaching babies and toddlers to swim using the Water Babies programme
  • Creating fun, safe, confidence-building lessons in a warm pool environment
  • Helping little ones (and their grown-ups!) feel relaxed, supported and proud
  • Following clear safety procedures, with robust systems and great support
  • Being part of a friendly, passionate team who genuinely love what they do
  • Travelling to swimming pools across your allocated teaching area in South Yorkshire

What we're looking for

  • No previous swimming teaching experience required
  • A genuine love of children or a real love of swimming (both is a bonus!)
  • A positive, reliable, can-do attitude
  • Great communication skills and a friendly manner
  • Availability to work at least one day at the weekend
  • A driving licence and access to a car to travel between local swimming pools
  • Availability to attend our dedicated training course in Sheffield from 18–23 December 2026 inclusive
