JOB TITLE: Swimming Pool Engineer Guncast Swimming Pools Ltd

FULL/PART TIME: Full Time

SALARY: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year dependent on experience

MAIN PURPOSE:

Due to significant turnover growth, Guncast Swimming Pools, design and construction company with offices in West Sussex and Oxfordshire, are looking to appoint new experiened engineer, to strengthen and complement the existing team. The company operates within the luxury swimming pool sector both domestic and commercial, and experience in the swimming pool construction industry including filtration, heating and chemical dosing systems is required. Some UK and overseas travel may be required.

You will be under the responsibility of the Contracts Manager, who will help you identify your professional goals and support you in developing your skills.

KEY DUTIES:

• On site working predominantly on sites anywhere in the south of England and in central London and sometimes abroad
• Engage in forward-thinking and site planning alongside engineers.
• Provide guidance on project scheduling and offer feedback to project managers on pending tasks.
• Conduct site audits and provide feedback to project managers using Site Audit Pro.
• Supervise subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
• Facilitate communication between engineers, office staff, subcontractors, site agents, and clients.
• Manage site paperwork, including Health & Safety RAMS records, Riddox reporting, and site inspection forms.
• Encourage timely completion of Riddox reporting
• Ensure all compliance and bonus documents are up-to-date and submitted promptly.
• Offer advice on the training and development of the engineers in your team
• Conduct quality checks to ensure workmanship meets Guncast standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and promote a safe working environment.
• General other on site works as required
• Commissioning of pool systems

ATTRIBUTES / QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in swimming pool construction industry

Knowledge and experience of general building practices

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Good understanding of electrics would be preferable

Good organisational and communication skills

Self-motivated and able to self-manage when required.

Basic computer literacy. Email use essential.

Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external

ISPE qualification or equivalent

CSCS card

Full, clean driving license
