A little bit about us...

So, who are we? Water Babies is the largest baby swimming school in the world with international franchises in Ireland, America, Canada, The Netherlands, and China.

We’re made up of a large network of over 50 family-run franchise businesses which began in Yorkshire in 2002 and now teaches in excess of 50,000 babies a week across the globe.

Water Babies is a young and dynamic company that has grown enormously through passion, hard work, determination and professionalism. About the role...

Do you fancy being part of something special?

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrator and Swimming Teacher to help our busy office and pools run ‘swimmingly’ and give a stand-out service to our customers.

This is a hybrid position that will see you mixing your time between our busy office, and any one of our 14 pools across Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ayrshire. This is a "work from home remote office" where you will be connected to your team members by the power of technology. All office equipment will be supplied.

In the Office you will be:

· Maximising opportunities for bookings

· Working towards call targets

· Handling inbound and outbound customer enquiries through our bespoke CRM System

· Delivering friendly, professional and helpful customer service

In the pool you will be:

· Delivering engaging and progressive lessons to 0-6 year olds

· Providing a safe and inspiring environment for children to learn

· Developing supportive and lasting relationships with children and carers

· Providing a platform for children to develop a Lifelong Love of Water

Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a busy office, talking to customers and be a pro at using Microsoft Office.

Experience of teaching is not required for this role, as we will provide all the necessary training required to be a qualified Water Babies and Level 2 Swim Teacher. You should have a love of children and families, and a desire to improve their water confidence, swimming ability, and water safety skills at every stage of development.

This role will require a flexible approach to office or teaching duties as and when required, to suit the needs of the business.

Essential Criteria

· A valid full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

· Availability to work Thursday to Sunday, 30 hours per week, throughout the year.

· Willingness and flexibility to travel to any of our pool locations across Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ayrshire when required

· A suitable space for a home office

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the world’s leading baby swim school, join a friendly team and help support our customers and the growth of a family-run business.

So if you’ve got organisational flair, thrive in a team environment and are a brilliant communicator, then we want to hear from you.

Become part of the family. Just email a copy of your CV and a covering letter detailing why this job is the one for you to amanda.robertson@waterbabies.co.uk and we’ll be in touch!
