Swissport is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Ramp Agent to join our team at Belfast City Airport on a permanent basis, working 25 hours per week.
As a Ramp Agent, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe turnaround of aircraft, working as part of a dedicated airside team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft
- Marshalling and guiding aircraft on the ground
- Operating ground support equipment (GSE)
- Conducting pre- and post-flight ramp safety checks
- Working closely with flight crews, airlines, and ground teams to ensure on-time departures
- Adhering to all health, safety, and security procedures
Requirements:
- Must be aged 18 or over
- Eligibility to obtain full airside security clearance (including a 5-year checkable work/education history)
- Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- The role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A full manual, valid driving licence is essential
