Swissport Hiring Event – Airport Baggage Handler (Bag Hall Agent)
Immediate Start – Edinburgh Airport
Join Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, and play a vital role in keeping Edinburgh Airport moving. We’re recruiting Bag Hall Agents to support baggage processing and ensure smooth, efficient airport operations.
Role Details
- Location: Edinburgh Airport
- Salary: £12.91 per hour
- Contract: Full‑time, fixed term until 31/10/2026
- Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday–Sunday (shift work)
What You’ll Do
- Sort & scan baggage using automated systems
- Route luggage to the correct flights
- Load bags for transport to aircraft
- Maintain a safe, clean, organised bag hall environment
- Follow all safety and security procedures
- Assist with lost or delayed baggage enquiries
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in baggage handling or logistics is helpful but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical fitness to lift and move heavy bags
- FULL UK Manual driving licence
- Ability to pass all required background checks
