Job Overview

We are seeking a Systems Support Specialist to take ownership of our internal Yardi platform, driving system efficiency, user support, and process improvement across the business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Yardi, a strong understanding of residential property management processes, and a passion for training and developing colleagues to get the most out of our systems. This role sits at the heart of our operations, acting as the internal expert and first point of contact for all Yardi-related queries, training needs, and system process reviews. This is a full-time role based from our Leeds office, though occasional travel to other sites and offices may be required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a lettings and property management background who is looking to move into a systems-focused role — one that offers real variety, cross-team collaboration, and the chance to make a tangible impact on how the business operates. If you are highly organised, technically minded, and passionate about improving the way people work, this could be the perfect next step for you. We offer a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, with genuine opportunities for personal development and career advancement.

The Role

  • Act as the internal Yardi subject matter expert, serving as the primary point of contact for system queries, troubleshooting, and user support across the business
  • Triage and resolve Yardi support requests from internal teams, escalating to third party support where necessary and tracking issues through to resolution
  • Carry out system administration tasks within Yardi, including setting up new users, configuring new units and properties, and maintaining system data integrity
  • Design and deliver Yardi training programmes for new starters and existing staff, tailored to different roles and levels of system knowledge
  • Review and audit system processes on a regular basis, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, or non-compliance, and feeding findings back to the Senior Operations Manager
  • Draft and maintain Yardi process documentation, user guides, and training materials, ensuring these are kept up to date and signed off by the Senior Operations Manager
  • Monitor system usage and compliance, proactively identifying where teams may benefit from additional training or process guidance
  • Support the review and improvement of wider business system processes, working within the standard framework and tools for process design
  • Assist in maintaining third-party system agreements and integrated platforms connected to Yardi
  • Actively promote the systems support function across the business, building awareness of available support and disseminating key updates regarding system changes and process improvements
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects supporting the property and Build to Rent teams, particularly where these have a systems or process element

The Person

  • Solid working knowledge of Yardi is essential; experience as a system administrator or super-user is highly desirable
  • A good understanding of residential property management processes and how they interact with a property management system
  • Familiarity with residential lettings legislation and how this shapes system configuration and compliance requirements
  • Highly organised, with a methodical approach to problem-solving and a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • A confident communicator who enjoys delivering training and building positive relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Self-motivated, with the initiative to identify issues and drive improvements without being prompted
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities
  • Experience in drafting clear, user-friendly process documentation and training materials

The Package / Benefits

  • £28,000 – £32,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
  • Performance-related company bonus
  • Ongoing training, development, and system certification — encouraged and fully funded
  • Fantastic company culture within a globally recognised organisation, including social events
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm — no weekends
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Opportunity for some remote working following successful completion of probation
  • Company laptop

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced maternity leave
  • Enhanced paternity leave
