Dona's mission is to support places of worship and charities with fundraising through technology.

We partner with over 1,500 charitable organisations across the UK to install contactless card terminals and donation webpages to collect donations.

We are growing and are looking for a technical-focused individual to join our team. This role is about developing our products to make charities more successful in fundraising. There are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your skills in this role in a fast-paced tech start-up environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing the Dona product backlog for mobile, web and API systems
  • Analysing requirements from the business and customers
  • Translating requirements into work for the development team to complete
  • Testing the changes from the development team
  • Coordinating releases and deployment of changes

Skills and experience we're looking for in a candidate:

  • Someone with a strong technical background with an understanding of software architecture and modern development approaches.
  • An excellent communicator who has excellent verbal and written English. You'll be communicating with end-users as well as developers.
  • Someone organised, a self-starter. You'll need to deal with several competing priorities in this role and you'll be expected to research and resolve issues yourself.
  • Patient and good at explaining things simply. You'll need to learn our domain and explain business requirements to developers and technical issues to business users.
  • Adaptable - we need someone who is comfortable working in a fast paced tech start-up environment.
  • At least 4 years experience in a similar role.

Required to:

  • Have your own laptop

Working hours 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).


  • Remote but travel to the office 1-2 times per month for meetings and team socials. Expenses not covered.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
