EMEA Security Commissioning Engineer

Location: EMEA / UK & Europe
Travel: Regular European travel
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience + travel/staying-away package

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Security Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team delivering security systems across major projects throughout EMEA.

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys travelling, working on technically challenging projects and wants exposure to some of the largest data centre and critical infrastructure environments across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission, configure and test electronic security systems across EMEA.
  • Carry out installation testing, commissioning and system integration.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults during commissioning and handover.
  • Complete system programming and configuration.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, clients and subcontractors.
  • Produce commissioning documentation, test sheets and handover information.
  • Travel extensively across Europe to support project delivery.
  • Provide technical support during project installation and commissioning phases.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Security Commissioning Engineer / Security Engineer.
  • Experience with one or more of:
  • Lenel / OnGuard
  • CCure
  • Genetec
  • Formal manufacturer training/certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of access control, CCTV and integrated security systems.
  • Data centre experience is highly desirable, although experience within other critical or high-security environments will also be considered.
  • Comfortable working away from home and travelling extensively throughout Europe.
  • Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Full driving licence.
