Pay: £12.50–£15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: 3 days per week (Wed/Thu/Fri or Mon/Tue/Fri)
Location: East London, E11 (in person)

About the role

We are a busy garment decoration and digital print workshop based in East London. We produce custom apparel and printed products for a wide range of clients, working to tight turnarounds and high quality standards.

We are looking for an experienced Print Technician who can independently manage jobs from artwork preparation through to finished garment — with minimal supervision and maximum ownership.

Our technicians work directly from DecoNetwork, our production management system — pulling garments, reading customer mockups and following precise artwork measurements and placement specifications to ensure every job meets the client's approval.

Essential requirements — applications will only be considered from candidates with proven hands-on commercial experience in ALL of the following:

  • DTF transfer printing — full process knowledge (film, white ink base, powder adhesive, curing, transfer application via heat press)
  • Heat press operation
  • Vinyl cutting, weeding and application
  • Roland print-and-cut machine operation
  • Digital t-shirt and garment decoration
  • Artwork preparation using Adobe Illustrator
  • Artwork preparation using Adobe Photoshop
  • Following customer-approved proofs, mockups and artwork measurements accurately and independently

Desirable — not essential but a significant advantage:

  • Screen printing carousel operation
  • Embroidery machine operation
  • Experience with DecoNetwork or similar garment decoration management software
  • Experience in a fast-paced garment decoration or print shop environment

What we're looking for

  • Takes full ownership of jobs from artwork through to finished garment
  • Able to log into and navigate a production management system (DecoNetwork)
  • Pulls and prepares garments for print based on job requirements
  • Reads and follows customer mockups and artwork measurements accurately
  • Attention to sizing, placement and specification — zero tolerance for errors
  • Works quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Excellent attention to detail — no comebacks
  • Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • Professional when dealing with customers

Important

Please do not apply unless you have hands-on commercial experience operating DTF transfer printing equipment, heat press, vinyl cutters and Roland print-and-cut machines, and are proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for print artwork preparation.

Applications that do not clearly demonstrate all of these essential skills will not be considered.

Candidates must be based within commutable distance of E11 Leyton. Applications from outside Greater London or Essex will not be considered.
