Safe Group 25, a trusted member of the Palletline network, is seeking a proactive and organised Customer Service Administrator to join our busy transport office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

The Role

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring a high standard of service for our clients. You will be the first point of contact for many customer interactions, helping to coordinate freight movements and resolve queries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist the Customer Service Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks

· Monitor, manage, and respond promptly to incoming emails

· Handle customer enquiries, including bookings, quotations, and service queries

· Liaise closely with the Transport Administration team to support client needs

· Ensure all customer service standards are maintained and exceeded

· Monitor outbound freight deliveries and provide updates where required

· Use internal systems to input, update, and manage bookings

· Maintain and update customer portals and records accurately

· Handle inbound calls relating to freight deliveries and general enquiries

About You

· Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (transport/logistics experience is advantageous)

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment

· Good attention to detail and accuracy

· Confident using IT systems and learning new software

· A team player with a proactive and positive approach

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
