Shape young minds and build lasting connections in a supportive Croydon primary school where every child's potential is nurtured.

Are you passionate about supporting young children's learning and development? Do you want to make a meaningful difference in a vibrant and welcoming primary school community?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed team at a friendly and inclusive primary school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils and teaching staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of classroom activities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive environment
  • Contribute to assessment and record-keeping
  • Support pupils' social and emotional development

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
  • A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
