Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and drink orders, providing recommendations when appropriate
• Serve meals and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any needs or concerns
• Handle payments accurately using the POS system and process transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
• Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
• Assist with basic food preparation or setup as required during busy periods or special events
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
• good knowledge in cocktails making would be prefer
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently with effective time management skills
• Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
• Familiarity with food preparation processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
• Guest services orientation with a focus on creating positive dining experiences
• Upselling skills to promote menu items confidently without being pushy
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
