Job Summary
La Mancha tapas restaurant in the heart of Rochdale. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate (would be Spanish speaking but not essential) play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch hospitality throughout their visit.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to the restaurant’s standards of presentation.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and glassware.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
