About Us

At Booker Water Services, we provide unique end-to-end water management services with exceptional customer service at the heart of everything we do. With over 25 years of experience in the regulated water industry and UKAS accredited standards, we deliver sustainable and cost-effective solutions for clients across the UK. Our mission is simple: to make water management straightforward, efficient, and environmentally responsible.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Water Technician to support the growth of our commercial contracts team.This role involves working independently to collect water samples from commercial premises while following strict quality control procedures and ISO 17024 standards. The role may involve nationwide travel and close collaboration with laboratory teams.Full training will be provided.

Employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect water samples from commercial sites
  • Ensure samples are delivered correctly and on time
  • Follow all company procedures and quality standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Participate in tank cleaning operations to Legionella ACoP standards
  • Support continuous improvement and internal feedback processes
  • Assist with reporting unusual sample results or failures
  • Follow health & safety procedures including lone working, driving, chemical handling, and manual handling

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Good awareness of health & safety practices
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Full UK driving license

Previous experience in water hygiene or sampling is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
