Job Title: Waiter/Waitress

Who We Are
The Kings Cow is a modern countryside inn - one that celebrates responsible farming, refined eating and the quiet comfort of generous hospitality, based in Skermitt, Henley-on-Thames.

We are currently seeking to expand our team, and are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Waiter or Waitress to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, hands-on environment.

About the Role
This full-time position is ideal for an individual with 2–3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a busy restaurant or pub setting. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, supporting daily operations, and contributing to a positive and energetic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable guest experiences
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced bar and restaurant environment
  • Assist with hosting duties and help oversee smooth service
  • Support menu development, including drinks and seasonal offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the bar and service areas
  • Ensure the venue is fully prepared for service and maintained throughout

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in hospitality
  • Hands-on, proactive, and highly organised approach
  • Strong ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in taking initiative and supporting team operations
  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to high standards
