Overview
We are seeking a self employed talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant salon . The ideal candidate will possess a passion for body art, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase artistic talent while engaging with clients in a friendly and professional environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and applying tattoos, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and contributing to the studio’s welcoming atmosphere. Experience in management, social media management, and guest services is highly desirable to help promote the studio’s reputation and attract new clients.

Responsibilities

  • Create customised tattoo designs in collaboration with clients, ensuring their vision is realised with artistic precision.
  • Operate tattooing equipment safely and hygienically, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the studio, including sterilisation of tools and work areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the tattoo process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Manage appointments efficiently, including scheduling and follow-up consultations.
  • Utilise social media platforms to showcase artwork, promote studio events, and engage with potential clients.
  • Upsell studio services and products to maximise client satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues in management roles and supporting studio operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating artistic skill and versatility.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
  • Experience in management or social media management is advantageous for promoting the studio’s brand.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse clientele.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to tattooing and body art procedures..
