Job description
South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse licensed Taxi drivers required to provide a quality service to all of our customers.
Rental car drivers with 001 Taxis will enjoy 57.5% of their total weekly earnings. The remaining 42.5% goes to 001 Taxis to cover the cost of the rental vehicle, insurance, maintenance, and platform fees.
Already licensed?
Owner drivers pay the one of the following weekly percentage bands:
- Earnings from £0 to £499: 20%
- Earnings from £500 to £999: 15%
- Earnings of £1,000 and above: 10%
Additional Details:
- The maximum charge will be capped at £190, meaning this is the highest amount you will be charged.
- There will be a minimum charge of £25 for drivers with earnings less than £125.

You will need:
To be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
A UK driving license for at least 1 year with no more than 6 penalty points.
Local area knowledge and customer service skills is essential. You must have a clean and tidy appearance along with good English skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their desired destinations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and ensuring a pleasant ride experience.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition through regular checks and necessary maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch to coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
