Job Title: Dental Receptionist
Location: Canning Town, London
Salary: £13.00-£16.00 (DOE)

About the Practice
We are a busy, well-established dental practice in Canning Town (Weekends Only), dedicated to providing high-quality care in a welcoming and professional environment. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our patients.

The Role
As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience from the moment patients walk through the door. You will manage the front desk, coordinate appointments, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and provide a professional first impression
  • Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and diary coordination
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries efficiently
  • Handle patient records in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements
  • Process payments and discuss basic treatment costs where required
  • Liaise with clinicians and the wider team to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a dental reception role preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Confident using dental software systems Dentally
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
