Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated FREC 4 Medic to join our growing team delivering high-quality medical cover across events, private contracts and night time economy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Duties

  • Provide advanced emergency medical services including patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and initial treatment interventions.
  • Administer medications and injections following established protocols and under medical direction. (If SALM L3 qualification held)
  • Perform physical examinations and utilise physiology and anatomy knowledge to determine patient needs.
  • Manage airway, breathing, and circulation issues using appropriate care techniques.
  • Assist with triage in emergency situations to prioritise patient care effectively.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely, including driving to and from event sites.
  • Conduct documentation of patient care reports accurately and promptly using EPCR.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain certification standards and stay current with medical practices.

Requirements

  • Valid as a FREC 4 or equivalent certification recognised within the UK healthcare system
  • Proven experience in critical care environments or hospital settings is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated proficiency in immediate life support (ILS).
  • Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical examinations confidently and accurately assess patient conditions.
  • Experience in triage procedures and managing emergencies.
  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; ability to operate emergency vehicles safely. (Preffered)
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or moving in demanding environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety standards at all times.
