Job Title: Loans Underwriting Administrator
Location: Epsom, KT17 4NL (Surrey)

Employment Type: Full-time, 6 month fixed term contract
Salary: £26,000–£26,500
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30 (1-hour lunch)

Job Overview
This role supports the end‑to‑end mortgage process, ensuring applications are processed accurately and efficiently from submission through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Process loan applications on the internal system and follow up with customers or brokers for any missing information
- Arrange property valuations and liaise with valuers as needed
- Upload and organise documents to prepare cases for underwriting
- Handle incoming post and complete basic admin tasks (e.g. acknowledging offers)
- Carry out checks such as land registry and credit searches
- Request and track information needed for post-contract changes
- Send out mortgage offers and solicitor instructions once approved
- Respond to customer, broker, and solicitor queries by phone or email
- Support the Completions team with administrative tasks after approval
- Manage paperwork and system updates for any changes after contracts are agreed
Experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- An ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and with external parties.
- Accurate and efficient administration skills
- The flexibility to move between different tasks and systems quickly and effectively.
- Good teamworking abilities
- The initiative to work on your own and manage your own workload.
