Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking to recruit an Internal Technical Consultant to support the management of new instructions of our insurance-led structural repair projects.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role where you will play a key part in managing new instructions, coordinating the external technical team, and maintaining strong relationships with insurers and loss adjusters.

Duties

  • Manage the triage and allocation of new enquiries across the technical team, ensuring instructions are effectively prioritised and progressed in line with client expectations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication, building strong relationships, and ensuring a positive service experience throughout the lifecycle of each claim
  • Oversee claims from instruction through to authorisation, taking ownership of progress and ensuring a smooth, consistent journey through all stages
  • Monitor and manage WIP, proactively identifying delays or risks and ensuring SLAs and response times are consistently met
  • Prepare and issue quotations, with a focus on accuracy and commercial awareness, and actively follow up to support conversion to authorised works
  • Coordinate with internal teams to schedule visits efficiently, supporting effective diary management and overall workflow
  • Ensure all claim information is accurately maintained within internal systems to support reporting, visibility, and decision-making

Experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of enquiries
  • Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented with good commercial awareness
  • Experience within insurance claims is beneficial, but not essential

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
