Pronto Engineering Group is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer (All Levels)

An innovative and nationally recognised manufacturing organisation based in Camlough is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer (Graduate to Senior) to join its expanding engineering team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-performance, design-led products across multiple industries, the company offers a dynamic, technology-driven environment focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence.

The Role

As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical and control systems for complex, high-value products. Working within multi-disciplinary teams, you will support projects from concept through to production, testing, and installation, ensuring delivery to cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems, control panels, wiring schematics, and harnesses
  • Produce electrical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and technical documentation using tools such as EPLAN and AutoCAD [elec design job desp | Word]
  • Deliver innovative design solutions for new products and customisation of existing systems
  • Work closely with customers to understand requirements and provide effective engineering solutions [elec design job desp | Word]
  • Collaborate with automation, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful project delivery [elec design job desp | Word]
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), design for manufacture (DFM), and change management processes
  • Assist with prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Create and maintain test plans, reports, and certification documentation
  • Participate in customer meetings and provide ongoing technical support
  • Support installation and commissioning activities both in-house and on-site [elec design job desp | Word]
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

About You

  • Degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering
  • Experience in an electrical design role within a manufacturing or engineering environment (level dependent)
  • Proficiency in electrical CAD/design tools (e.g. EPLAN, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries
  • Knowledge of control panel design, harnessing, and system integration
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting prototyping, testing, and certification activities
