Tregarthen’s Hotel on the Isles of Scilly, is seeking a F& B Assistant to join their Food & Beverage team for the 2026 season.
Ideally situated on St Mary’s, the hotel boasts outstanding views across Tresco, Bryher, Samson and St Martin’s. Along with a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive a staff uniform, a mid-season bonus, and a share of gratuities. This is a live-in role, with accommodation provided.
This is a full-time seasonal position. Applicants must be available to start within the next week through to 26th October 2026 and must be eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
· Welcome and serve guests in the restaurant and bar
· Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
· Deliver dishes and beverages to tables with a high standard of service
· Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining areas
· Assist with setting up and clearing down before and after service
· Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures
Key Requirements:
· Committed to providing outstanding service to our customers in the hotel restaurant and bar
· Experience in a similar role, gained from a restaurant or hotel
· Passionate and professional in your work
· Ability to work well within a team and under pressure
· Good communication and attention to detail
· Reliability, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
