Part-Time Furniture Sales Advisor – 14 Hours

£13.00 per hour + 2% commission on all personal sales

Bedworld is one of the UK's leading bed and mattress retailers, helping thousands of customers find the perfect night's sleep. We're looking for an experienced Furniture Sales Advisor to join our busy Cardiff showroom.

Previous furniture retail sales experience is required for this position. We're looking for someone who is already comfortable selling furniture in a showroom environment, understands consultative selling and can confidently convert customer enquiries into sales.

This is a part-time position contracted for 14 hours per week, working full shifts every Saturday and Sunday.

Flexibility is also important, as you may occasionally be asked to cover additional shifts throughout the week for holidays, sickness and business needs.

What You'll Do

As a Furniture Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while maximising showroom sales.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and understanding their individual requirements.
• Advising customers on beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture.
• Using your previous furniture sales experience to confidently recommend and sell suitable products.
• Maximising sales opportunities and achieving personal sales targets.
• Processing customer orders accurately.
• Opening and closing the showroom as a trusted key holder.
• Keeping the showroom clean, organised and well presented.
• Maintaining high merchandising and product-display standards.
• Representing Bedworld professionally and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Full training on Bedworld's products, systems and sales processes will be provided.

Working Hours

Contracted hours: 14 hours per week

Your regular working pattern will be:

• Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
• Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Applicants must be available to work the full shifts on both Saturday and Sunday.

Flexibility to provide additional cover on other days when required for holidays, sickness and business needs would also be beneficial.

What We're Looking For

Previous furniture retail sales experience is essential.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in furniture, bed, mattress, sofa or other home-furnishing retail sales.
• A confident salesperson who understands the customer sales journey.
• Comfortable approaching customers, identifying their needs and closing sales.
• Motivated by achieving sales targets and earning commission.
• Friendly, professional and customer-focused.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility as a key holder.
• Flexible and able to provide additional cover when required.
• Available for all 14 contracted hours every Saturday and Sunday.

Pay, Commission & Benefits

• £13.00 per hour basic pay.
