About The Role
We We are seeking an experienced and qualified Procurement Manager to lead and manage the procurement activities within our organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development and implementation of procurement strategies, ensuring value for money, compliance with company policies, and adherence to UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to support the business objectives, ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, tendering, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and internal guidelines related to procurement activities, including UK public procurement laws where applicable.
- Monitor market trends and conduct analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, ensuring the best value for the organization.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms, pricing, and service agreements, while managing risks.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained to meet operational requirements without overstocking.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities to track efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, ensuring high levels of performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage the procurement budget and report on spending, cost savings, and procurement performance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure contracts are aligned with the organization's financial and legal standards.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior management and external partners.
- Knowledge of supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results under tight deadlines.
