Full job description

We require one or two-person subcontractor teams to deliver SDU Overhead Fibre Installations to Customer Premises, mainly across South London & Surrey but travel anywhere within the M25 may be required. Installations are required between 8am – 6pm across Monday to Sunday.

Do you consider yourself to have

  • The Expertise and Capabilities: subcontractor has the expertise and resources to handle the entire scope of work assigned to them, delivering on a first time right basis.
  • Great Quality Standards: a focus on at least meeting required quality & compliance standards and a reputation for delivering high-quality results every time.
  • Careful Workmanship: works carefully without causing damage to existing premises; taking required measures to protect structures, equipment, and finishes is essential.
  • Adherence to Schedules: timely attendance and completion of each project is critical.
  • Safety Practices: compliance with defined H&S requirements is an absolute must.

Looking for immediate starts.

One-person team - Usually routed between 3-5 installs a day depending on ability.

Two-person team - Usually routed between 4-8 installs a day depending on ability.

Subcontractor requirements.

What do you need to have?

  • Essential: 1 person qualified with SA001, SLG (NRSWA), SA008 and flat roof working (must have proof of certificates)
  • Previous experience of FTTH installations
  • Valid driving licence (max 6 points)
  • Limited Company status with UTR and £5m public liability insurance

MUST HAVES:

  • Own fibre install kit including splicer / cleaver
  • DBS Certificate, new or maximum 3 months post application

T&Cs:

  • Payment on completion of a quality install / service call & compliance with SLAs - contact us for rates and terms
  • Service charges applicable for QHSE non-compliance

Ideally looking for individuals / teams with minimum 2 years FTTH experience. OH experience is essential, UG is desirable, ability to positively engage and connect with customers is also critical.
