Mitie Telecoms, under the P2ML arm which deals with the structural design element of the business are looking for a Project Structural Engineer to join the team in their Rutherglen office.

Main Duties:

  • You will be responsible for Preparing all H&S documentation as necessary.
  • Undertake tower analysis.
  • Undertake re-analysis of existing models.
  • Build and analyse structures with MS Tower.
  • Design and review of strengthening designs, and approval of straightforward schemes.
  • Carry out bespoke designs including hand calculations including the appraisal.
  • Act as lead engineer on project-related work, ensuring health and safety and site work are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Running projects completely (technical, planning, and commercial).
  • Project cost control, ensure that the projects that you have been tasked with are kept within an appropriate budget, maximising profit where possible.

What we are looking for:

  • You must have a minimum of two years experience preferably in the telecommunications sector with experience of MStower or equivalent.
  • A hard working and motivated individual keen to become part of a dynamic and expanding team.
  • Ability to manage own workload effectively. Ability to plan and programme works.
  • Knowledgeable in H&S requirements of projects.
  • Ability to identify and suggest process improvements.
  • Ability to communicate accurately, concisely and with confidence at all levels.
