Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial roles is highly desirable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and maintained in pristine condition
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
- A positive attitude and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning duties
