Full job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety, and providing excellent hospitality to our students, staff and visitors to the College.

Main Duties:

- Cleaning of the kitchen, dining room and all food outlets, pre and post service

- Provide high quality customer care and service at all times

- Service of food and beverage

- Recording of cash and card sales

- Preparation of packed lunches, salads and vegetable preparation

- Preparation and delivery of food and beverage items to corporate suites in a timely manner.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality ,catering or college industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

- Awareness of dietary requirements and recognition of allergies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude

- Excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
