As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our catering outlets operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Working Hours

This position is a zero hour fixed contract for our busy autumn/winter months. Hours available depending on business requirements, and flexibility is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present food products in accordance with company standards and food safety requirements.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to every guest.
• Serve food and beverages while maintaining excellent standards of presentation.
• Ensure all food preparation, storage, and service areas are kept clean, organised, and hygienic at all times.
• Follow all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
• Proactively identify tasks that need attention and support the wider team wherever required.
• Assist with stock control, replenishment, and the safe storage of food and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, counters, seating areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high-quality service delivery.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and help uphold the professional image of the business.

What We're Looking For:

• A genuine passion for customer service and creating positive guest experiences.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and support the team.
• A strong understanding of the importance of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.
• Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and additional shifts when required.
