Full job description

Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and organised individual to join our team as a Holiday Park Receptionist at Golden Coast. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Handle telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries
  • Process bookings and update reservation systems
  • Handle cash and card payments accurately, including end-of-day reconciliation
  • Provide information about park facilities, local attractions, and services
  • Resolve guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area

Working Hours:

  • Flexible shift patterns including mornings, daytime, and evenings
  • Must be available to work weekends and bank holidays

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role is essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience handling money and processing payments accurately
  • Good administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Confident using computers and booking systems
  • A positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within the hospitality, leisure, or holiday park industry
