Full job description

North Devon Resort is a large holiday resort in Ilfracombe, which includes a variety of holiday services and commercial areas including one swimming pool, Bar & Restaurant, shop and café.

We are now looking to recruit welcoming, professional, highly organised, and motivated bar & restaurant team members with experience in a similar setting.

The bar & restaurant is one of the main points of contact for all our guests where we make those all-important first and last impressions. Our success is built on our ability to work together to ensure our guests receive the very best holiday experience as possible and we will be looking to you to set an example of what exceptional customer care looks like.

This is very much a hands-on role in a fast-paced, customer facing environment.

To be the face of our holidays you will need to be highly presentable, have excellent communication skills and a positive problem-solving attitude.

Key responsibilities:

· Making drinks to company specification

· Replenishing stock items on the bar

· To maintain the cleanliness of the bar within the venue and clearing and cleaning in a timely manner.

· Communicating with the bar supervisor on any ice or replenishment items the bar may need.

· To work with nightly check sheets to keep cleanliness at the highest of standards.

· To effectively clear and reset tables in a timely manner ready for our next guests

· Cash handling and till use

· To use a booking in system to help organise bookings, guest numbers and free tables

· To serve food and drinks from stations to tables

· To follow a daily checksheet to uphold the highest cleanliness of the bar & restaurant

We will ensure you are fully trained to feel confident helping our guests.

The role includes working evenings, weekends, bank and school holidays across 7 days of the week.

Hours: Full time and part time roles available

Contract type: Seasonal

Wage: dependent on experience
